Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine connects with the local community in a number of ways. The college is located in Gainesville, Florida, a major health education center in the southeastern United States. We offer:

Resources for the prevention of drug/alcohol abuse

 

Dragon Rises College is an alcohol and drug-free space.  Possession or use of alcohol and/or recreational drugs is strictly prohibited on college campus.  Students under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not permitted on campus.  Smoking is discouraged, as we focus on creating healing and having a healthy environment.  The use of tobacco or abuse of other substances is contrary to the healing profession.  The campus is smoke-free, and the student clinic can help with smoking cessation.  This is discussed in the student handbook on page 12, and help for problems with addiction is provided through these websites:
