Academic Program

Academic Program leading to a Masters Degree

The Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine program of Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM), which is the recognized accrediting agency for programs preparing acupuncture and Oriental medicine practitioners. 

After the completion of a minimum of 60 credits at the Baccalaureate level, the student will automatically enter the Masters level of the program. Upon satisfactory completion of the entire program, students will receive concurrently a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree. They will be qualified to sit for the NCCAOM boards, 
and after passing, to apply for licensure.
